Christmas Wreath

Christmas wreath I made for my boyfriend to take to work. Sadly he then dropped the tray in the floorboard of the car so it never made it. :(

Mininie Mouse

So, every year I volunteer to do some sort of special cake for my niece. The past two years, she's wanted SpongeBob. This year, I had to put my foot down and say "No" to yet another SpongeBob cake. So, she picked Minnie Mouse. This cake was done just like the two SpongeBob cakes were. Here's the cake fresh out of the pan.

First, a little border.

Then, a lot more border, along with filling in her eyes and nose.

Whites of the eyes.

Tongue. :P

Hey! She's got a face now.

Ears, head, arms, legs and feet.

Pretty pink dress and matching bow.

Purple shoes and belt.

Gloves and small details.

Couple little free hand flowers.

Background (it is slightly tinted pink. Slightly.)

Sides all done.

Little bottom border.

Wonder what she'll pick next year!?

Tyler's Cookie Cake

I believe this is the only cookie cake I've made so far but it was awesome! It was made for Tyler's 21st birthday party. He loves Jaeger so thats why the 'alcohol' in the shot glasses is so dark.

Strawberry Daiquiri Cupcakes

My mom requested these for a friend of hers. I found the recipe here. Again, thanks Pinterest!

Here's all my ingredients:

And heres the final product. I'm not sure why I only have this photo.

Blueee

This was my brothers cake. Very simple and plain, but very yummy!

Margarita Cupcakes!

For these cupcakes, I found the recipe here. Thank you, Pinterest. :)

Here are basically all of the ingredients that I used:

The first step was to make jello shots. I believe I made cherry because the recipient of these cupcakes requested it.

Next, I made the standard cupcakes with the margarita mix, etc.

Made some homemade lime butter cream frosting.

That ^ was REALLY yummy, btw. Put everything together and here we go:

Bailey's Irish Cream Cupcakes

You can never go wrong with Bailey's in a cupcake for St. Patrick's Day. :)

To do this, I used a simple white cake mix but replaced about half of the required water with Bailey's. It ended up making my "white" cake mix not so white...

That wasn't really an issue though because the color of the batter wasnt that important... I was dying some of it green anyways.

The next dilemma I had was the fact that once I baked the cupcakes, all of the alcohol would evaporate out of them. That makes the significantly less fun. Therefore I did the only logical thing to do... I put Bailey's in the icing:

I had only dyed half the cupcakes green as well as half the icing...

USMC Cake

This is one of my earlier cakes, a cake I made for my nephew's 16th birthday. He's been wanting to join the Marines so I , made him a USMC cake.

Started with just a plain, iced cake.

Added an edible picture I had printed out by a local shop.

Added some little soldiers and grass to the top.

Border and such.

Then I noticed I had a broken soldier... missing his feet and head. My boyfriend had the wonderful idea to use red food coloring and take full advantage of this.
